The idea for Sola was born from a simple need: a mat that could support a wide range of movement without sacrificing quality, design, or sustainability.

But behind that need was something deeper. As both a trainer and practitioner, I’ve seen how powerful it is to consistently show up for yourself. Movement teaches us to sit with discomfort, to keep going when things feel uncertain, and to build trust in yourself and the process. I wanted to create a brand that reflected that quiet kind of discipline. One rooted in simplicity and consistency.

As a trainer, what always lit me up was inspiring others to embrace the discomfort that comes with growth. That same spark is what fuels me now to share Sola.

My vision for Sola, what it stands for, and what I hope it can offer others, keeps me moving forward. Sola is more than a product…it’s a reminder that how you show up on the mat is how you show up in life.

Ali - Social Media

Ali brings a thoughtful, creative lens to everything she touches at Sola. With a background in hospitality and fashion, her journey has always been about intention: how to create meaningful experiences through aesthetics, storytelling, and connection.

In 2020, that intention became Happy Hours, a service born from the belief that time is our most valuable resource. By offering support in the background, from digital content to daily tasks, Ali helped others reclaim space for what matters most.

At Sola, she continues to live that philosophy. Through curated visuals, trend-led strategy, and soul-driven storytelling, Ali shapes our social presence. She’s behind the camera, the captions, the little details that make you feel something.

Her work isn’t just about content. It’s about making space for happiness and connection.

Christina - Marketing

Christina first connected with Sola while completing her Masters. As a marketer with a deep appreciation for storytelling, community, and thoughtful design, she instantly saw something different in the brand: intention, integrity, and a quiet kind of strength.

What started as a conversation became a collaboration. Now, she supports Sola’s marketing and PR efforts, helping to shape how the brand shows up in the world: online, in partnerships, and beyond.

With a background in media, brand storytelling, and strategic communication, Christina approaches every project with care and curiosity. At the heart of her work is a belief that brands should feel as human as the people behind them, and that’s exactly what drew her to Sola in the first place.
