At 70, I have been at self directed yoga for decades. Grip is essential for me. Almost all brands " promise" grip; almost all fail to live up to that promise . BMAT one notable exception- it does. It's a great product and I'm very happy I bought it! It's perfect on the mat, it absorbs sweat and provides better grip, even though the mat itself is already very grippy (more than other mats that I've tried) which also impressed me. I really like the little fold in one of the corners of the towel, because, when I put it under the corner of the mat, it keeps the towel in place on the mat.

I'm new to yoga but wanted to start out with a good mat. I have only had my mat for a month or so but it's been great so far. I got the 6mm, so it's definitely on the heavier side, but not a big deal to carry to/from the studio for classes. It had a strong smell on arrival but I aired it out for a couple days as suggested and the smell is gone. It cleans up really well and has great grip for sweaty sessions. The 6mm provides extra cushion for joints without losing stability. Delivery was super fast.
